I went ahead and removed the springs off the front axle. This was a bitch due to the rusted U-bolts holding the springs on. It took a lot of PB blaster, heat, and pure muscle to get those damn bolts off.
Anyone who works with rusted bolts needs to invest in a nice pipe to help give you a little leverage. (Just be careful not to break your bolts)
Finally got the springs off!
This is just a part that is set under the U-bolts and plate that hooks to the steering drag link assembly. I wanted to get a good picture of it.
Next I removed the tires....which was very easy!
